Bringing Creativity Back Into Learning
Welcome! Through E4MCUK I provide support to parents with a desire to actively support their child's education, from ages 7- 14. E4MC is the web-based community that provides direct teaching and practical resources to support teaching and learning whilst celebrating the uniqueness of each individual child. My aim is to raise self-confidence and self-esteem and to promote a love of learning.
Hi, I’m Jan Mace, the founder of E4MCUK. I have over 30 years’ experience in education as a primary school teacher in the UK and Australia, a school leader in Leeds and in Nottingham, an Initial Teacher Trainer at Nottingham Trent University, and a Local Authority Adviser as Director of Numeracy in Bradford. I trained at North Riding College of Education in Scarborough and have spent much of my career working in the area of Maths Education even though my personal strengths were in English, Drama and the Creative and Performing Arts. Alongside this, I have a passion to see children given opportunity to use their innate creativity and to develop a love of learning to raise self-confidence and self-esteem. I currently work with children on a 1:1 tutoring basis and through my popular interactive group teaching sessions.

“Jan is a wonderful, engaging tutor who has completely boosted my daughter’s confidence through her on-line English and Maths groups.
She delivers her subjects in a clear, logical and effective manner yet at the same time the subjects are fun, interesting and interactive. My daughter certainly looks forward to her weekly sessions.
At the end of each session you are provided with follow- up activities and Jan always takes the time to give constructive feedback in a positive manner.
The results we are seeing are spectacular and we are so grateful for her support.”
Jan is such an engaging Tutor, my son loves her lessons and his enthusiasm is sky high for his creative writing sessions. This is a regularand valued part of our homeschooling support now.
Thank you Jan !
